Naika I presented only two looks this year: a denim dress created for the Isetan project and a “Storm” ensemble from the “Blossoming Rebellion” collection. I had planned to showcase more looks, but unfortunately, my sewing machine broke while working on an embroidery top, and I also faced health issues. It was disheartening because I initially thought it was a settings issue, but it turned out to be a mechanical problem. I’m currently in the process of getting it repaired.
Despite these challenges, this year’s exhibition had a larger turnout with more guests than ever. We even had dancers perform at the beginning of the show, adding an exciting touch to the event.
I’m incredibly grateful to my friends who graciously modeled for me. This exhibition also marked my first time attending a school’s fashion show as an observer; previously, I had been a model for other students. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in the works of other talented individuals, leaving me inspired and motivated by their creativity and dedication.
